Jamie L. Alvarado-Taylor, Esq. is a Senior Associate in the Personal Injury Law Department at Stein Sperling Bennett DeJong Driscoll, P.C. She is a bilingual (Spanish and English) litigator and has been at Stein Sperling for 6 years, handling matters in both Maryland and Virginia. Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Jamie practiced criminal defense and family law.

Jamie has been a member of the Board of Directors of the MHBA since 2016. Prior to being elected as the President- Elect, Jamie served as Secretary and Treasurer. She is also a co-chair of the Judicial Nominations Committee. Jamie is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, the Fairfax Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association.

Jamie has been recognized as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star each year since 2020. She is a graduate of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, Class of 2021-2022. Additionally, Jamie was recognized as a Maryland State Bar Association Bar Fellow in 2021, and a Bar Association of Montgomery County Bar Leader in 2019. Jamie is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law (’13). She lives with her husband and daughter in Montgomery County, where she runs with the Montgomery County Road Runner Club.
