On December 15, 2016, the MHBA held its annual holiday party in Rockville, MD. In addition to an opportunity to network and celebrate, the MHBA seized on the opportunity to give back to the community by collecting donations for a local charity. We raised $300 for Hearts & Homes for Youth, which helps local youth and teen parents who are in crisis by providing group and foster care, as well as programs to learn important life skills and empower them to make positive life choices. The organization provides individual, group and family therapy, mental health support, as well as academic support and vocational training.
