Mariana C. Cordier

Originally from Argentina, Mariana C. Cordier is the founding partner of Cordier Law Offices, LLC, representing individuals and families from all walks of life. Ms. Cordier represents clients in the area of criminal law, family law, personal injury and general litigation. She was elected Secretary General of the Inter-American Bar Association (IABA), is a past-president of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and a fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation. Ms. Cordier is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Ms. Cordier has been the Montgomery County Commissioner on the Governor’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs since 2004 and is on the Latin American Advisory Board to the Montgomery County Executive.

Ms. Cordier earned a Bachelor of Arts form American University in Political Science and a Juris Doctor form Washburn University School of Law. She has also attended Universite Lyon III, Institute de Droit Compare for Comparative Law (US/EU); The University of London – Imperial College for Comparative Corrections Institute; Universida de Salamanca, Post Graduate Program on Internacional Private Law;Oxford University Round Table on Women’s Human Rights in March 2005.
