Jessica K. Chipoco

Originally from Lima, Peru, Jessica K. Chipoco immigrated to Atlanta, Georgia, when she was just eight months old. She is an attorney at GPN Title, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland, and has practiced in the areas of real estate and title for eight years. Prior to this, she was an Assistant State’s Attorney for Montgomery County, Maryland. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, and is the Immediate Past President of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association (MHBA).

In 2011-2012, Jessica was selected to participate in the Maryland State Bar Association Leadership Academy. Her class of 14 attorney fellows, chosen from around the State of Maryland, planned, developed and executed the 2012 Elder Law Symposium: Navigating the Elder Care Maze, a one-day symposium open to the general public at Anne Arundel College, Maryland, featuring legal experts on all facets of elder law issues.

Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in 2000, and her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law in 2004. During law school, Jessica interned at both the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Trademark Division, and served as a staff member for the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal. She was a Thurgood Marshall Fellow under the American Bar Association’s Council on Legal Education Opportunities (CLEO).

Jessica’s practice is based in Montgomery County, Maryland, where she resides with her wife, Lindsey Dawson.
