On November 6, 2017, MHBA co-hosted an Asylum Training Seminar together with Catholic Charities, Esperanza Center Legal Services and the Pro Bono Committee of the MSBA Young Lawyers Section. The event provided a step-by-step guide on how to present and win their asylum case. About 40 people registered for this in-person and web-based seminar. Attendees learned how to successfully represent families and individuals seeking asylum in the United States. The event was held at Miles & Stockbridge in Baltimore.
